ZEISS CIRRUSPathFinder

Sharper Diagnosis. Smarter Planning. Safer Cataract Surgery.

At Dr Leo Adult & Paediatric Eye Specialist, we believe cataract care should be precise from the very first step. That’s why we are one of the first clinics in the world to use the Zeiss CIRRUS PathFinder™, an AI-guided eye imaging tool that gives us a clearer picture of your retina before surgery. This means better customised planning, fewer surprises, and optimal outcome for your vision.

What Is CIRRUS PathFinder?

CIRRUS PathFinder is an imaging system developed by ZEISS that works with Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) scans. It captures detailed images of the retina and applies AI analysis to point out changes that may otherwise be difficult to see.

Traditional eye imaging relies heavily on manual interpretation. Subtle issues can be missed, and scan quality problems may only become clear later. CIRRUS PathFinder addresses this by combining high-resolution imaging with AI analysis. This means:

  • More accurate detection of early macular changes that could affect cataract surgery

  • Instant scan quality checks, so unclear images are retaken right away

  • Closer monitoring of both eyes over time, without extra steps

  • Greater confidence in your personalised treatment plan

By highlighting what the human eye might overlook, CIRRUS PathFinder gives Dr Leo the clearest possible view, so that she can recommend the most appropriate intraocular lens (IOL) for your vision and lifestyle, and to tailor your surgery for optimal results.

Our Approach
at Dr Leo Adult & Paediatric Eye Specialist

Technology alone does not make decisions. With decades of experience treating cataracts, Dr Leo interprets the flagged results alongside your full eye examination.
